Be a part of our future. Construction is under way.
We are currently building our Sports Complex with  specially designed facilities to accommodate the needs of our special children. The new facilities slated for completion in 2008, will include a large hydrotherapy pool with wheelchair ramps, and an individual hydrotherapy pool for our severely disabled children. The new complex will also include, a multi-purpose gymnasium, and fitness room.
Teaching our students to be self
sufficient is critical to our mission.
The complex will also house a full sized life-skills apartment, new educational kitchen, bakery, and mini-store, designed to teach independent living. Students will be taught daily living skills like cooking, shopping, and cleaning, in order to help main stream our maturing population. Many students have grown up at Tzohar and we're very proud how many can now function on their own, the new complex will maximize our ability to help the children help themselves.
The final component is a dormitory facility with 24 hour care for children who live too far to commute. Tzohar is currently a day care institution only, limiting our ability to help many who are in critical need of such care for their children but live to far away to access some of the best care in the country.
