Girls come to our school from families without the means to provide for their children. Many of our students come from high-risk situations which foretell disaster.

Our next generation of young women are welcomed into the "Or Chadash Family" where they are provided with a warm, supportive, home atmosphere and a high caliber education. The entire staff acts in unison as parents to our 150 students who turn to them for personal attention, care, and physical comforts. and fulfillment of needs that a loving environment must provide in addition to books and homework and tests.

Much effort is concentrated on building self-image and guiding the girls towards becoming contributing members of their own families, the employment world and society at large.

To do so, administration and professionals must help their girls confront and overcome the many emotional scars and economic barriers they face as a result of a childhood spent in a severely dysfunctional setting. Girls' Town/Or Chadash is their home, their school, their haven of safety.
